Pathfinder Lodge 1st Floor

1- Entry Porch

“The grand entryway stands atop three sets of stone stairs. Between the wide doors is a towering white marble statue of a hooded Pathfinder, wayfinder held up in search of knowledge. Crouching before the Pathfinder is a crumbling lion statue. The double doors on either side are usually open during the day, welcoming in those who seek knowledge.”

2- Entry Hall

“Two stories high, the entry hall is intimidating to those who fear learning. Directly ahead is the entrance to the Grand Gallery, through which glimpses can be seen of the treasures that lie within. To either side of the hall into the Grand Gallery are stairs leading to the second floor, above which can be seen tables and chairs, at which are sat a couple of curious Pathfinders watching the comings and goings below. To the left is a marble statue of a mysterious hooded figure, while to the right a statue of a friendly looking bard watches with curiosity.”

3- Waiting Room

“Rows of chairs sit in this room beneath looming portraits of important-looking Pathfinders. Visitors to the lodge wait here for appointments, but there are never many such visitors.”

4- Intake Room

“Old and well-worn tables sit around this room where Pathfinders can bring their discoveries to be catalogued and inventoried by the Chief Cataloger. His formidable desk sits in the corner, where he can oversee the process. Around the room on the walls hang magnificent landscapes of mysterious lost cities, crumbling temples, and fog-shrouded ruins.”

5- Magnimar Gallery

“This small anteroom contains a few displays of books, artifacts, journals, and other pieces from famed Pathfinders that hailed from Magnimar.”

6- Heidmarch Gallery

“To the left in this small gallery is an enormous portrait of Venture Captain Sheila Heidmarch, painted in front of a magnificent but somewhat inaccurate view of the Grand Lodge in Absalom. On the right, in full Chelish military regalia is another of equal size of her husband Sir Canayven Heidmarch.”

7- Varisia Gallery

“Numerous display cases showcase the achievements of Varisian Pathfinders along with portraits of many of them.”

8- Grand Gallery

“This immense gallery runs most of the length of the building and soars high into the air. Columns taken from a Rahadoumi temple of Sarenrae line both sides, and between them are the most dramatic displays of the collection. Statues, taxidermized creatures, weapons, and other artifacts are kept on large stone blocks. The crowning piece is a spectacular gold sphinx, whose wise visage holds court over the magnificent collection. Above, arches meet to create domes supporting a suspended floor above.”

9- North Gallery

“The north gallery features Avistani collections, including a rare display of pre-Revolution art rescued from Galt and artifacts of a forgotten dragon-worshipping cult found in Cheliax.”

10- South Gallery

“Most of the south gallery is animal displays, including mummified bodies, skulls, and other strange remains. At the center is a funerary display of a renowned philosopher whose name is strangely totally unknown, despite their importance as the first follower of Irori. There is also a display of Osiriani artifacts from a controversial dig near Sothis.”

11- Back Gallery

“A small gallery behind the sphinx holds a display of books and banners. It is sparse and clearly under construction.”

12- Curse of the Crimson Throne

“A packed display of artifacts and reproductions is crammed into this corner, all of which are related to the recent events in the city of Korvosa. A reproduction of the Crimson Throne is the focal point of the collection. It also holds a replica of Serithial, the legendary blade recovered by the heroes. An immense pool holds water tinted red, atop which is a huge statue of the evil Queen Illeosa and a dragon skull. On the other side is a collection of armor and weapons, including two sets of Grey Maiden armor.”

13- Grounds

“Behind the main lodge are the grounds and outbuildings of the full lodge. This includes a bathhouse, additional lodgings, a service house, and Heidmarch Manor.”
