Darius Mehrabi is the istandar of a Keleshite province close to the border of Taldor. The Kelish word “istandar” translates as “tax collector”, but the position is closer to a count. He is a handsome man who stayed with the Sittas family and fell in love with Arete.
The party met him at his uncle’s brothel, the Palace of Flowing Silks where he is living under house arrest. The Council ordered all Keleshite citizens to remain in the city for their own protection, due to the bandits and the missing Taldan Horse regiment.
