Duke Panivar Lotheed. The 1st. The 2nd. The 3rd. The 4th. The 5th. The 6th. The one and only. Despite his assumed death nearly 300 years ago, there has only ever been one Duke Panivar Lotheed. He discovered through some surely vile and blasphemous manner, a way to avoid death. After doing so, he founded a secret society, the Immaculate Circle, dedicated to discovering what all nobility is due… immortality and their rightful place as supreme masters of all.
The Lotheed family has always been gifted in arcane magic, but none so much as Panivar. His mastery of magic is perhaps unrivaled anywhere on Golarion. From the beginning, he has shown himself to be a dangerous foe with unusual skills and abilities.
He is the driving force behind the forced resurrection of Prince Carrius and the Cult of the Twilight Child. He intends to rule through the prince as his puppet, secluded and safe from retaliation while he and his associates loot Taldor. He also ordered the assassination of Princess Eutropia, and has had considerable behind-the-scenes influences on High Strategos Maxillar Pythareus and probably other claimants to the throne.
