A former officer in the Taldan Phalanx, Grammell Taychar is a hard and serious man. As one of Earl Merkondus’ troubleshooters, he is here in Yanmass to support the Earl’s efforts.
The party encountered him in Yanmass after speaking with the baron. He and most of his “troubleshooters” confronted them and tried to intimidate them into giving up. It didn’t work at all. He lied and claimed to know where the bandits were operating out of, when in fact he has no clue.
Grammell was on his way with his fellow troubleshooters to rescue Earl Merkondus when he was intercepted by Artorius, Narsius, Prosopo, and Vanessa. They convinced the group that no pay was forthcoming, and that Earl Merkondus had been convicted of treason. Rather than press the matter, the former lieutenant abandoned the mission.
