Matanji Orc

Orcs whose ancestors reached the surface in the Mwangi Expanse, the Matanji orcs have had a very different history than those in Belkzen. They are respected for their demon slaying expertise, and while they are still relatively insular, their presence among other ethnicities is not surprising. As a result, they have developed their mental capabilities further than those in other regions.

Matanji Racial Traits
+2 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Wisdom: Matanji orcs are strong and resilient, but prone to reckless action.
Orc: Matanji are humanoids with the orc subtype.
Medium: Matanji are Medium creatures and have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
Normal Speed: Matanji have a base speed of 30 feet.
Bite: Matanji gain a bite attack that deals 1d4 points of damage.
Darkvision: Matanji can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
Ferocity: Matanji can remain conscious and fighting even if their hit point total falls below 0. Matanji are still staggered at 0 hit points or lower and lose 1 hit point each round as normal.
Hatred: Matanji receive a +1 bonus on attack rolls against humanoid creatures of the dwarf subtype and outsiders of the demon subtype because of their training against these hated foes.
Stubborn: Matanji gain a +2 racial bonus on Will saving throws to resist spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, if a Matanji fails such a save, it receives another save 1 round later to prematurely end the effect (assuming the spell or spell-like ability has a duration greater than 1 round). This second save is made against the same DC as the first.
Languages: Matanji begin play speaking Mwangi and Orc. Matanji with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following languages: Common, Dwarven, Elven, Giant, Gnoll, Goblin, and any Garundi languages.
