The youngest and most reckless of the Kustios sisters, Valentina ran away to a life at sea. While at sea, she was shipwrecked and then rescued by an Ulfen raider. She married him and had two children by him, while continuing to accompany him on his adventures.
When he died in a raid, she took over his group and has led it ever since. When news of her father’s illness reached the Lands of the Linnorm Kings, thanks to a returning member of the Ulfen Guard, she immediately set out for Yanmass.
She is a wild card of the three but has two advantages over her older sisters. She has proven leadership abilities, and has two male sons.
The party took Valentina with them to investigate Tallgrasses. There she fought bravely against the “bandits”. But more importantly, she convinced the duped halfling servants of the regiment to stand down, saving them.
When the party returned, they named her the successor of Baron Kustios. They based this on her proven leadership skills, existence of two heirs, her lack of political bias, and her compassionate actions toward the halflings at Tallgrasses.
